Lahore Attack 3/27/2016




LAHORE: At least 72 people were killed in a suicide attack in Gulshan-i-Iqbal Park of Allama Iqbal Town on Sunday evening, rescue sources said. Hospital sources added that over 250 were injured
I have no words to express my grief on the brutal attack on Children and women in Lahore. We stand with the victims in this hard time.

Aaloo Goosht (potato mutton curry/korma)


Ingredients :

Mutton 1/2 kg
Ghee 1/2 cup
Yogurt  1/2 cup
Kewra 1 tbsp
Garlic paste 2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Cardamoms (green) 8
Cloves 8
joz jawteri (grounded) 1/2 tsp
potatoes 2 medium
Chili (grounded) 2 tsp
Golden Fried onion (grounded) 1/2 cup
Coriander seeds (grounded) 1 tsp
Black pepper 10

Preparation:

Mix all the spices in yogurt.
Heat ghee in a pan and add spicy curd and meat in it and fry.
Lower heat cover and cook till half done.
Now add in grounded fried onions and stir fry for a while.
Now add patotoes
Then add 3 cups of water .
Cook on low heat till meat is tender and a thick gravy is left with ghee floating on top.
Lastly add in kewra.
Serve hot with naan

Malaysian Paratha

Malaysian Paratha


 Ingredients

For Dough:

Flour ½ kg
Egg 1
Butter 2 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Baking Powder 1/3 tsp
Salt to taste

For Filling:

Chicken mince 500gms
Onion 1
Garlic 4-5 cloves
Mozzarella cheese is about 1 tbs in each paratha
Red chili powder  1 tsp
Zeera                   ½ tsp
Black pepper crushed 1tsp/50gms
Oil / clarified butter as required
Salt to taste

Method:

1>Take ½ kg flour, egg, 2 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp sugar, 1/3 tsp baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl and knit the dough.
2> To prepare filling, frying mince with crushed 1 onion,crushed  4-5 cloves of garlic, , 1 tsp red chili powder, ½ tsp crushed black pepper and some salt in a mixing bowl and mix everything.
3> Roll the dough and put the filling in it , add 50 gms of mozzarella cheese in each paratha and wrap the edges with the help of egg.
4> Brush it with egg and fry it in very little flame.

3>taway pe butter lagayen paratha dala tawe pe marmiyan mai filling rakhi cheese dala egg brush kia pore parathai or 1 by 1 fold kia 4 sides
4> har side ko band karte waqt egg brush kerna hai take paratha khula nahi
5> side palat dije or fry karen.
6> tawe se uthar k garnish k liye thora mazeed cheese daal dain parathai k uper
7>enjoy paratha
